“Location was great. The front staff were friendly & helpful at check-in, but the lady at check-out never looked up from her phone. The room was a great size, and the AC was amazing! The bathroom shower pressure was just above a dribble. The hotel as a whole needs lots of TCL and updating. As of now, it was overpriced for what I got. The location and staff (for the most part) are its saving grace.”

“One of the elevators was out, and had been for while, apparently. It was a common sight for there to be a line of people waiting for the one remaining elevator. So we used the stairs 95% of the time, as it was much faster. Also we reserved a room with a sofa bed months ago, yet when we checked in, there wasn’t one of those available nor an upgrade to a larger room. When we booked the place, for 5 nights, breakfast was an extra $500. Seems steep? The room and bathroom were small, and the bedside……

“The room was clean but dated, the Breakfast was good and the Omelette bar was good they need to have sausage and bacon available. Easy access to the beach and the pool. The staff was very friendly.”

“The tides is such an amazing way for a family to experience the beach. Right on the water, the rooms have plenty of space and storage as well as bunk beds for kiddos. We much prefer this to renting a condo in Orange beach. The breakfast buffet in the morning is so affordable and a great way to start the day looking out over the gulf. We have been three times and will return”
