"The Spillway did not disappoint. We only wish we hadn’t stayed longer. The units are brand new and in great condition. Nice kitchenette and breakfast bar makes it easy to enjoy food in but there are a few good options just a couple blocks away, but with a sauna, hot tub, bikes, kayaks all available on the property, you can also make a case for not leaving. We had a great time here. As a bonus the upper level (1BR) units have a common outdoor connection that is like a private backyard that is clutch for anyone traveling with kiddos or pups."

"We had just a one-night stay but would have happily stayed longer. Boyne City is a great village. Everything about the motel was wonderful--location, staff service, cleanliness. It was twice as good at half the price of the motel we had stayed at the night before in another Northern Michigan city."

"Last minute booking while on the road. Good value for the price- clean room and property. Walkable to the Walmart next door, which allowed for refreshing our supplies on our road trip. Beds were very firm. Standard continental breakfast but well stocked and clean dining area."

"Very comfortable bed. Fairly priced. The content is no breakfast. This morning was better than I expected, with bagels, fresh pastries, fresh fruit, and coding, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, and such, oatmeal, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, and orange juice."
