This is an ideal place to spend the night when traveling through Albuquerque. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Although I did not take advantage of its location, it is downtown near restaurants and stores. Best of all, it is about 10 minutes from the airport and a lot cheaper than the hotels clustered around the airport! My only gripe is that I could not get the little plastic envelope of shampoo open.

Love seeing these old Route 66 places being revamped and still affordable! Perfect for a quick one -night pit-stop on the road, or a home base for exploring ABQ, but do not expect a lot of quiet on weekend nights, as Central is popular with drag-racers.... Great front desk service. Roomy space.

Requested a non smoking room and they still gave one to us. An employee came to let us know later on that they made a mistake but since we had settled in we decided to just keep the room. Bed felt itchy all night so they may have bed bugs. Towels looked dirty, thankfully we brought our own. One good thing was they had security in the parking lot at night.
