“An absolutely beautiful house to stay in. We used this as a home base over several days in order to check out Santa Fe and Taos. It took about an hour to get to both from the house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. ”

“The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We chose it for its size and location. We had a group of 9 adults. The back deck was great for an evening bbq. The door lock didn't work when we arrived, but the owner was easily able to reset it for us.”

“This is the second stay for us at this home. Very nicely updated adobe home. We love the outdoor spaces and the amazing views and plenty of room for our family. Ben the owner responded very quickly to questions. I love the open floor plan that allowed us to cook while visiting. Well stocked with basic necessities. If you enjoy watching hummingbirds bring a feeder and you will be thoroughly entertained. ”

“This is the third time we’ve visited Santa Fe. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit. A break from the heat back home. This home away from home had it all. Well equipped, very comfortable, close enough to town but also far enough away from the hustle bustle. Tim was very comfortable to work with throughout the reservation process and stay.”

“The backyard was amazing and made the stay here worth it just by itself! Lots of seating right along the river and a picnic table. The flowers and grass were well maintained. The inside of the house had everything we needed for our 2-day stay. The only thing I’ll say is there is no cell service there but they did have WiFi that worked great. “This was my second visit to La Lomita. Last summer I stayed with my teen son and this year I came back with my husband for our first solo vacation in TEN years. La Lomita was perfect for its proximity to Santa Fe, Chimayo, and Taos, but what really drew us was the quiet, beauty. We felt like we were in a world to ourselves. We especially loved sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and reading. My favorite Expedia/VRBO stay ever. ”

“Jim and Marilu's house is very comfortable with a good sized kitchen and dining area plus plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen is well equipped for longer stays. The area by the creek is lovely and I enjoyed having coffee and listening to the water and birds. The deck is also wonderful to eat or sit and enjoy the views. My friends really enjoyed visiting. “It is a historic home in a nice little town way up in the mountains. There is a small store, gas station, clinic, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We were visiting for a graduation, and the house is only a block away from the school. The house is obviously remodeled. The wifi was excellent, never had a problem with it. We enjoyed ourselves completely. ”
