"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "Rooms beautifully appointed. Staff friendly. Breakfasts good quality. Some rooms face a road but we weren’t disturbed by late night traffic. Meals in the Fence Gate Inn reasonably priced and of good quality. Would definitely return"
