Upon arriving outside the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by how cute it was and its location. It is just 1 block behind the palace, and a 10-12 minute walk along the main streets from Amsterdam Central Station. It is so close to all of the main spots we were exploring (Anne Frank House. the city center, 15 minute walk to Rijksmuseum area or red light district - just super convenient! Staff were friendly & helpful, and the rooms were generally clean. A bit dusty, and the washrooms were not pristine, but very clean compared to other hotels we have visited.

Nice bedroom, although small, with pristine en suite. Very good restaurant which served excellent breakfast. There is an atmospheric bar - catch the wonderful Delft frieze. Central location within walking distance of the station but also good public transport links. Would recommend.

The hotel and staff were great. Its in a great location for visiting sites near the city center. The area near the hotel isn't the cleanest but the hotel can't do anything about that. The staff was very helpful upon our arrival in Amsterdam. They kept our luggage when we got there while we saw some sites before our check in time.

We rushed out didn’t put our iPad in safe when we got back room wasn’t. Made and iPad was gone. It showed on our iPhone it was in hotel. It still shows it’s there. Staff helped looking for it but didn’t turn out. We hope they find it and mail it to us. But we wasted so much time emptying room luggage over and over.

Lovely hotel staff. Room was a bit small, but not unexpected by European standards. Very convenient area, nice buffet breakfast which was free for my 12 year old son, although we didn't eat dinner at the restaurant. We did have a drink and some pub food at the Blauwe Parade bar. I would probably stay there again but might try to get a slightly bigger room.

The staff was very accommodating and provided a electrical converter at no charge!! Saved use the cost of buying one. The room was very quiet and clean. We so enjoyed the absolutely beautiful bar with bartender Max taking very good care of us and we even ate dinner in the bar one night. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam
