First room had the main door damaged an felt unsafe to stay. Second room given had no towels at all, a/c wasn’t working and one of the mattresses had a big dent shape as it look pretty old.

Nick at the front desk was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Great location right off the highway and walking distance to Disneyland. The room smelled a little musty, but was still decent for the price.

It was a great place to stay and a good value. The Wi-Fi was not good The humidity (July 2024) made the linens wet in the room. The rooms were clean and the area was safe add convenient.

It was very noisy, and we didn't get good sleeps because of this. Facial tissues would have been nice to have along with a seating area by the window. The curtains did not cover the windows completely either and let in a lot of light at night. The bathroom doors were closet doors and didn't close properly together. A shuttle offering to and from the Disney park would have been a nice bonus as well and we would have paid extra for this. Pool is a perk but we did not use it. Staff were friendly enough and check in was quick and easy.

If you are looking for a budget place to stay for a trip to Disney this place is your best bet. By far the cheapest hotel in the area but you get what you pay for. As long as you go in with those expectations the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate gives you everything you need. The staff here are very curteous and helpful. For our experience, the floors in our room looked clean but when we looked at the bottoms of our socks they were black with dirt! The housekeeping staff did change sheets and towels regularly, but there were some stains on some of the bed covers, not that they were dirty, they had clearly been laundered, but they still were using stained linens. The towels are small, more like a towel you would use for your hair and well used (aka thin). This was true of the hotel towels and pool towels. The room itself looked modern at first glance but the longer you spend in the room the more the workmanship shows. Our toilet paper holder fell off the wall, our shower head was broken and we had to ask for the front desk to replace it, our remote for the TV randomly stoped working. On the plus side the mattresses were all new and very clean and comfortable. The noise level entirely depends on where you are in the motel and who your neighbors are. Not recommended if you want to go back and forth from Disney and your hotel during the day, it's a LONG walk. Better if you spend the whole day at park.

Very friendly front desk staff, easy free parking and close to parks which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Immediately off of I5 for the couple trips up and down the coast. Not much right at the doorstep but a nice easy walk to parks, downtown Disney, tons of restaurants and Anaheim city walk. Housekeeping was attentive, coming every day (we thought it was going to be every other day). Property was quiet overall, some interstate noise but we live pretty urban anyway so we didn’t notice it. Walls are pretty thin so it’s definitely not a noise proof hotel. For half of our stay we had a nice quiet family next to us, then we had a very loud talking family move in - we heard every conversation for 3 days. I think a combo of thinner walls/construction and seriously loud, obnoxious talkers were at play here. Luckily we had all day plans for the days when they moved in - although they did wake us up at 4am today - we were all able to get back to sleep. Not partying and nothing we could really complain about - they’re just ridiculously loud people.
