Only issue with staff is we had a house keeper walk into our room without approval at 9:30 in the morning. It was a little sketchy! Pool looked nice but never used! Did get bit by something while there…could be mosquitoes or the other something else…never seen the actual bugs but had the bites….other than that, the place did seem clean, nice shower! “We were initially disappointed to hear a week before arrival that the honeymoon suite was unavailable due to repairs, but what followed was nothing short of wonderful. Our replacement room was beautiful, and the moment we saw those dramatic, serene mountain views, any lingering "what ifs" melted away. It’s the perfect escape to slow down and breathe. Even the winding, adventure-filled drive there makes the arrival feel earned. The food was another major highlight with fresh, healthy breakfasts……

“We stayed for 2 weeks and it was great. Only thing to watch out for is if you plan to rent a car. Garage is pretty tight entering and exiting the hotel can be challenging. Lots of scrapes on the bottom of my rental due to steep ramps. Other than that, staff was friendly, they know English, comfortable beds, great and well priced onsite restaurant, and a decent view.”

“This boutique hotel is perfectly positioned right on the old Venetian harbour. The breakfast was great, but don’t make the mistake we did. We were used to having unlimited coffee at our place in Athens, but when we ordered a second cappuccino we were charged over €5 each for them. No one explained that we would be charged, but it wasn’t a big deal. Just something to be aware of. We had room V (5) and although it overlooked the little, inner courtyard, it suited our needs perfectly. The……

“Would recommend Palazzo di Pietro to anyone!!!! What a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect, very close to the harbour, yet very quiet. The room was extremely clean and staff provided housekeeping daily. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond, providing us with an umbrella and beach towels for the duration of our stay. On our last day, we were catching a late ferry, and the staff were happy to store our luggage for us. 10/10 experience! Can’t say enough good things about……

“The hotel is perfectly placed for seeing all of the old port and we had a room that looked onto the port itself. No review, however, can fail to mention the now-legendary George, whose family has owned this place for decades and who offers wonderful recommendations for restaurants and beaches and other not-to-be-missed sites. Actually it was a young woman at the desk (whose name I sadly didn’t catch) who recommended we switch our planned visit to Elifonissi beach to Falasarna. Brilliant! Turns……
