“The location was great. Within a long walk to the downtown shops. The room was ok, recently updated but had some quirks. Dor example the doors only had one bathroom-style lock. No secondary locks or chains usually found on all other hotel doors. It also lacked a peep hole to see who was at the door. Kinda strange from my experience but might be worrisome to a solo or woman traveller. No deductions forbthat but just wanted to note it. My only con were the inflated prices. It calls itself……

“The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.”

“We rented the place for a girls weekend and the location was absolutely perfect. Beautiful view of the lake and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The only downside was the awkward seating with uncomfortable furniture in the living area and a lack of amenities in the kitchenette. There were no coffee cups and a wine fridge rather than a small fridge/freezer meant we had no ice. All in all a lovely stay and would be even better with a few changes!”
