Charming historical home, refurbished with lovely furnishings. great location near downtown. Breakfast and treats outstanding. It was a wonderful Fall weekend and change of scene for me in oshkosh. The Downton Abbey exhibit at The Paine was very enjoyable.

The hotel was in the perfect place for our short stay The room was excellent - a jetted tub even in a standard room !! Mini bar and VERY comfy beds. Recommended

There is a truck stop nex door I cold park my tracto trailer. I walked next door and had great accommodations

The employees were very good, the facility, not so much. Lighting in the room and bathroom is substandard. Given that the Heidel House is the "big name" place in Green Lake, we were somewhat disappointed. Room, bathroom need updating, at least in the room we had. Restaurants/pub were average at best. Do not order the nachos from the pub...worst we have ever had. The lake tour with Captain Ken was excellent, we highly recommend it. All that said, we had a reasonable visit and would potentially return but would not eat here.

Good location for what we needed. Close to downtown, and nearby parks. Hotel restaurant is fair . Currently under remodeling, so some inconveniences.

It's an older hotel but it makes up for it with charm and convenience. Plenty of restaurants, bars and businesses within walking distance. If you have the time, ask one of the employees of their resident ghost - "Walter".

Reservations with Expedia went smoothly. Little problem with room A/C but once fixed worked well. Housekeeping was a little over anxious for gratuity, on third day of week long stay they moved envelope from dresser to bed as if to say "you're supposed to fill me daily. I tip on last day

PROS: I stayed in Mayville to conduct business with Dodge County in nearby Juneau. The antique-style furnishings were well maintained and added a charm to the hotel. The hotel sound system featured light-rock selections, and my room had a hot tub in which to unwind. There were a wide variety of music genre selections available in my room. These all combined to make my return from my business day something to to which I could look forward. The attached restaurant (NOLA) was equally charming, and provided a high-end dining experience. Meals began with some lavosh with honey-butter, and featured cajun-style cooking. Wait staff and wine selection were excellent. CONS: Parking was limited to availability on the street. Otherwise you had to park a block away.

Enjoyed the B&B, the Bella Suite was wonderful and had a fireplace, jetted tub, and walk-in shower. Breakfasts were fantastic and they accomodated my schedule as I was in town for work. I hope to be able to stay here again for a non-work stay!
