Nice downtown Appleton area with plenty of places to eat good food, explore some breweries if that’s your thing, and get some great desserts! Some noise at night from cars driving downtown, but nothing too crazy! Would definitely stay again if I was in the area! "

"The remodeling/upgrades done on this 1900’s apartment are well done. They’ve modernized the apartment while keeping the classic charm. While Downton Appleton goes to sleep early (unless you enjoy bar hopping), the block that this apartment is located has a number of fun little shops/coffeehouses/eateries. There is also a large YMCA behind this apartment which offers day passes if you accustom to a daily workout. One negative (which is out of the control of this apartment owner) is parking....

It is a newer property and still needs a few touches, like wall decor to soften the echoes. "Beautiful old farm house but poorly maintained on the outside. Simple things like sweeping off the porch and removing debris and dirt from entrances, brushing off outside cushions would certainly be a beginning. Carpet is pretty nasty! Basic spices would be nice and there were not enough dishes, glasses and silverware. Not enough chairs for six people to eat together. This seems strange since it accommodates up to ten people."
