My husband chose Julian Price house for our anniversary getaway. He also looked at high-end hotel offerings. IMO he made an excellent choice! Beautiful, indoors and out. Having a love for architecture, the home and renovations are exquisite. Book with photos and narrative gives an historical perspective of the home and renovation process. There are also books detailing the history of Greensboro during the original construction period. We enjoyed the common areas and the manicured gardens/ outdoors. The home is centrally located if you are visiting Greensboro. Host was very accommodating and all areas were clean and welcoming. Highly recommend! Hope to visit again.

Room clean. Problem with toilet flushing. Free breakfast was nasty. They used to have pork but changed everything to turkey and it was nasty. For the price of the room breakfast should be better. The pool area had dirty towels everywhere. I suppose people don’t know how to clean up after themselves and neither did staff. We didn’t swim long. It has gone downhill since my last visit a couple of years ago. Area around it is nice.

The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, there were two downsides to be aware of. First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. I chose not to argue since I didn’t want to ruin our family trip, but future guests should expect additional charges. Second, privacy was an issue the owner lives in the basement, and it felt uncomfortable at times, especially with my child playing and moving around. Overall, it’s a nice property, but keep in mind the extra costs and limited privacy.
