“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. “This property sits in an amazing locale, and one that is not necessarily the easiest location to get to either. “The drive in is gorgeous. Arriving in Glenelg, the location is remote, but very much worth the drive. Rebecca and Ian were superb hosts. The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was amazing, but not so much as the view from the door. We've been to 19 countries on 4 continents and rarely had such an exceptional view. We will definitely add another stay here on any future trips to Scotland.”
