“Our family had such a great stay at the Toravaig House Hotel. From the moment we arrived the team was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfasts were spot on and delicious; my favorite the kedgeree (yum). There is no evening restaurant on site (yet, I believe that may be changing in the autumn) but we ordered the charcuterie boards for one of our evenings and were not disappointed. “The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
