“When every thing was booked up we ended up staying at Morar Hotel for three nights instead of one. We had to do some room switching here and there as each night was booked separately due to our situation and they were most helpful in the process. “The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“We’ve been traveling Scotland for a week and this was the most expensive stay, yet the accommodations were lacking. Cons: The bed sagged, you could hear people walking above you and the noise from the neighboring tv. Pros: it was clean, they had nice linens, and the staff were very friendly. Their restaurant was very good. Breakfast at the hotel had many options, however they were reluctant to refill after the tour bus left. Way too pricey for what we got. ”
