"We have stayed at the Surf Hotel a number of times and it remains one of our favorite hotels. We book a river front room with a balcony overlooking the Arkansas River and are never disappointed. The rooms are beautiful, the staff super friendly and helpful. "

"This was my 4th stay at the property and I’ve never had an issue. Hot springs pools are wonderful, clean, beautiful views of the mountains, rooms are clean. One thing I’d say is shower pressure in the room was absolutely terrible but I don’t sweat the small stuff. Otherwise, I’m sure I’ll be returning there and would recommend it to others."

"We came for a relaxing getaway for our anniversary and needed a place that would work for my husband after ankle surgery. We loved the open floor plan! The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with all the appliances and tools we could use. Everything was nicely decorated and comfortable. Our dog got his sniff on and enjoyed exploring! The view was great! Most of the time it was sunny and we could see all the mountains to the north but we woke up to a couple of heavy fog banks in the distance hiding all the mountains. It was beautiful! We enjoyed it!While it was just the 3 of us it would be a great place for 2 families or a very large group! Thanks for letting us share the place!"

"We loved our stay here for a girls weekend. We really enjoyed the hot tub, theater and all the space to hang out together. The weather was nice for October, so we were able to enjoy the outdoor space as well! Our only complaint was that despite turning off all outside lights by 10 pm as instructed by the host, we all received paper notes on our cars telling us to turn lights off. We can only assume it was a neighbor, which as a group of women traveling alone, made us feel pretty uncomfortable knowing someone was watching us and had the audacity to approach our parked vehicles. As a result, we did not feel comfortable using the outdoor amenities like the hot tub and fire pit on the second night of our stay. Our stay was otherwise pleasant and quiet. "

"We loved everything about our stay in the yurt and at BV Overlook… comfort, views, locations and amenities. Bikers will like riding from the site directly onto a huge network of trails. We hope to return soon."
