"There aren't any options within walking distance for food. You have the hotel ,which is pricey or a Circle K. And there are no city TFI transports available at the hotel or the airport. We spent a lot on taxi cab fees. The staff is great, and the hotel is pretty."

"We stayed in a family room with our 2 kids 7 and 10. Room was clean and nicely maintained and well sound proofed. We had a great nights sleep. We used the pool (you need to book a slot but we managed to change ours with ease when we arrived later) and went to the arcade which was small - but was a novelty for our kids. We had dinner, which was excellent and the breakfast was also great. Shout out to the staff at the gym who did an excellent Hyrox class which both me and my husband enjoyed! It was a great stay, and I would go back like a shot!"

"The whole experience was magical, all the staff were so friendly and attentive made me feel like royalty. The room and surrounding amenities at the spa which were right next to the rooms were fantastic. On my next visits which hopefully will be soon, a visit to the Treatment Rooms will be a must. The entrance hall took my breath away as I entered looking for the reception totally wasn't what I expected from outside. Very peaceful surroundings and if you like golf your laughing 😂"

"If you are looking to escape the mad world or planning the perfect family break, look no further. This place is truly a hidden gem, and from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special.The property is incredibly easy to find using Google Maps, which made the journey entirely stress-free. Also communication from the owner before arrival.As soon as you drive onto the grounds, an immediate sense of safety and tranquility washes over you.What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality.The family living on-site are some of the warmest, most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet.They went out of their way to make us feel at home and share their fantastic local knowledge,pointing us toward the best attractions and wonderful nearby restaurants that we might have otherwise missed.The accommodation is absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. After a long day of exploring, the beds were exactly what we needed—insanely comfortable and perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Outside, there is a great open space with football posts in the front, and the hosts actively encourage you to use them and enjoy the grounds, which was a fantastic touch for a bit of fun. But perhaps the most magical part of the stay happens after dark. It is so remarkably quiet here, and because there is no noise or light pollution, the views of the stars at night will absolutely take your breath away."

"My family of four had a great stay at Duffy’s Henhouse. Our accommodations had plenty of space with full kitchen that even had some food & beverage provided for breakfast. It’s an easy drive to get to Dublin as well as other nearby towns. There’s also plenty of shopping and food options nearby with a very detailed book of recommendations provided. Thank you to Ciaran and Eva for making our stay enjoyable."
