The room was filthy. The plumbing was backed up so water came up in the sink when you flush the toilet. There were stains on the sheets and the bedspread (may not have been washed). The bedspread had had burns and was sticky. There was a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the holder. No tissues. My feet stuck to the floor. The fixtures were literally falling off the walls. The vents and intake for the air conditioning unit was disgusting so it blew particles into the air. The smell of smoke was overwhelming. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms over the years (I travel for work) and some have been really bad. This room was the worst I have ever been in. I had a 2 night reservation but left after the first night. I have a right mind to report the hotel to health inspectors. I should really get a refund. Lastly, the pictures on Expedia are not what the room looked like. The manager was rude but switched my room but then on the other room, there was a cockroach and a massive hole and stain on the mattress. When I tried to talk to Expedia about this, the representative was also rude. Instead of accommodating me, I was kicked out of the hotel at 1am and was harassed by a homeless man outside of my room and was out in the cold for 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, smelled fresh, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. if you're looking for a no-frills motel that's affordable on Georgis football game weekends, this is a great place.
