stayed at the Trop multiple times and although it is still the best overall resort in AC, the last condition seems to degrade each visit. Kiosks rarely work for check in, restaurants are understaffed and general upkeep is slipping. The biggest issue has been the heating and air conditioning hasn’t worked properly in the last 3 rooms we’ve had. I’ve upgraded to the Havana Executive rooms so perhaps it’s limited to that room type but regardless it ruins the weekend if your room is freezing or so damp that all of your clothes, bedding, and even the floor feel wet. 3 stays in a row can’t be a coincidence so we will not be giving them another chance. It’s a shame because The Quarter is a wonderful amenity.

The property has completely gone down hill in the last few years. The parking lot smells like urine, the elevators are disgusting and the carpet in the hallways of Havana tower are gross. Tried walking to beach from lower entrance near the Palm and there was feces on the ground a few feet from the door. Also get a better check in process as they force everyone to wait until 4pm and it takes over an hour to get a kiosk. Have to think technology to check in on an app to avoid this has to be a possibility! I understand now why pricing of rooms has gone down.

We stayed in the Havana tower. It was clean and seemed recently renovated. The room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. Check in was contactless on a kiosk- paid $15 for early check in. Was fairly easy. Only issue with rooms was you hear EVERYTHING. The traffic outside (I was on 55th floor) and the neighbors alarm. Finally when we paid to park the attendant was angry we didn’t have cash even though it clearly showed they took cards. Was uncomfortable the way she was determined to get cash. Other than that no issues.

My son found a BEDBUG crawling on his pillow at 3am. The manager was absolutely the worst she did nothing but tell us “she doesn’t know what to tell us” and we can pack up all our stuff at 3:30am and move to another tower…why would I want to move to another room if I just found bugs in my current one so we decided to pack up and leave because we have a 7 month old baby who ended up getting bit. She only refunded us the resort fees we paid. Unbelievable and disgusting. I will NEVER be returning to Tropicana. I would rate this experience a -20 if I could.

Me parece que el lugar tiene mucho potencial y es muy grande y tratan de hacerlo de forma organizada ofreciendo todas las opciones de check in- check out online or maquinas evitando contacto con la gente, para lo que las personas mayores no se veian muy beneficiadas por la tecnologia. Segundo no lo recomiendo como lugar para estar en pareja, fue mas para las personas que le gusta solo casino, Se paga el hotel que no inlcuye nada, y ademas hay que pagar por un servicio adicional en la piscina? no hay nada de especial ni romantico, asi que funcionaria solo para placer, juego (casino) ambiente mas de amigos
