![I'm actually at sea now on the way to Matsuyama in Shikoku. By super jet (as in speed boat) it is 68 mins away. Am v surprised that I could still get internet connection while out here! Not exactly no where but it's the sea, the Japan inland sea.

My thought is this... It didn't take that long for Japan to recover. Pearl Harbor was unfortunate. That was history. Makes me wonder if I actually just boarded my ferry from the same harbor?!
