Welcoming staff and comfortable stay

We loved staying here during our brief stop over in Auburn on the way to Portland. Having spent the previous week hiking all over Acadia up north and Grafton Notch to the northwest, we were wiped out and in need of a quiet comfortable space to recharge for the night. This property had everything I want in a hotel. A pool, restaurant and a bar. I just wish the bar opened before 5 PM. Otherwise it was very relaxing.

Overlooking Kennedy Park, the Agora is a reinvigorated, stately building, greatly suited for a small hotel. The staff is gracious, the rooms well appointed in an earlier time period, and the overall ambiance is quite charming. Just what I was looking for... Thank You !

It was just a great place to stay. Very quaint, the Inn keepers were very friendly and helpful with what to do in the surrounding areas. Lots of outlet namebrand outlet stores and of course the new LL Bean Flagship store. Which was amazing. Would definitely stay again

We booked a stay at the James Place Inn based on reviews that we read on a few travel sites. I can't even begin to express how well-deserved each and every one of those reviews actually is! Robin and Tori are incredible hosts, pleasant, friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel right at home before we even got there! We truly enjoyed our stay at the Kendall Inn. The staff were very welcoming and their cooking was excellent. They even accommodated my gluten allergy at meals. Would highly recommend staying here!

We booked our stay at The Federal just because it looked nice and seemed like a good price. What we discovered was a wonderful and chic hotel with an extremely comfortable room in a completely remodeled hotel. We’ll definitely stay at The Federal again.

Very cute B and B. Nice personal touches, snacks and extra amenities, toys for your pet, wonderful breakfast. Connie was very personable and knew alot about surrounding area. Within walking of lots of shops and restaurants. Perfect spot. Clean, would stay again.

Going to the Harraseeket Inn is like time traveling, but with the option of taking a smart phone and having the electricity to charge it.
