“So. This review only refers to the hotel. Schluchsee and the surrounding area is amazing and I absolutely recommend the restaurant Seehof in Schluchsee, although they also have service issues. The hotel is by far not as nice and comfortable as advertised in the pictures and on Expedia as a whole. The rooms are quite frankly a catastrophe in this price segment; no amenities except for a fridge, no AC, no ceiling fan, not even a water boiler. The only cool feature in the entire hotel is the 24……

“在慕尼黑火車站旁邊 交通方便 我們租車要還車就在附近 整體住起來很舒服 但我先生被床虱叮咬 應該也不是他們的問題 我不願意因此就給他們低的評價 比較特別的是他們沒有房間清潔服務 你要自己把毛巾丟在外面的車廂裡，再拿乾淨的毛巾據說是要環保 但我覺得住很多天的人應該會很困擾。”

“The place was cute. Very small room but you did get a small balcony. No AC and the hotel is on a main road so you did get traffic noise because your windows need to be open. Staff didn’t speak English and they were clearly frustrated I didn’t speak German. I have stayed at places where no one spoke English and they provided a piece of paper that had information about the hotel. This place made zero effort to accommodate international travelers. I would not stay here unless you speak FLUENT……

“Der Empfang war freundlich. Das Einzelzimmer war sauber aber das Möbel war ziemlich heruntergekommen, das Bett knarrte bei jeder Bewegung. Das Frühstück war eher einfach mit Aufbackbrötchen, Butter und Marmelade in Einwegverpackungen. Tipp: auf das Frühstück verzichten, 2 Häuser weiter gibt es eine Bäckerei.”

“Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön direkt am See. Personal ist freundlich und die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist gut, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Und der Blick von der Terrasse im Restaurant auf den See ist phänomenal.”

“Wunderbares Hotel direkt am Rhein und direkt an einer verkehrsberuhigten Altstadt. Wunderbares Frühstück. Parkmöglichkeiten 100m entfernt im städtischen Parkhaus. Komfortable Zimmer in angenehmer Größe. Haus ist wahrscheinlich mehrere hundert Jahre alt, daher ein wenig hellhörig und knarzende Fußböden- urig! ”

“The property is very well placed for ease by public transport into Frieburg, initially by No18 bus and then No.1 tram into Frieburg. The rear of the property looks out onto some houses and then steep wooded hills. It was very quiet and relaxing. The continental breakfast was plentiful and good value. The room was comfortable and clean although the balcony would have benefited from a sweep.”
