“Good experience with property manager and cabin. Had an issue with check in due to VRBO sending incorrect code to me the day before check in. Didn't realize I was going to receive another updated one and couldn't get in with the old one. Property manager was very responsive and answered my call. Chalking it up to being new at renting VRBOs.”

“We enjoyed our stay! Neighborhood is quiet and close to the Lighthouse Park. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Check in and out was easy. Owner was quick to respond. ”

The lighthouse museum is walking distance away from the quaint little cabin. And we visited the nearby Port Austin to make the 7 mile round trip kayak trip to Turnip Island, where my boyfriend proposed to meA few things in the cabin (toilet paper roll, curtains and curtain rods, etc.) were……

“Very quaint rustic log cabin. Very close to beautifu sandy beach and one of our favorite public golf courses. You almost feel like your on the ocean. Great communication with owner. Two up!”

“Cozy, updated 1940s log cabin in a gorgeous, serene location with spectacular views of Lake Huron. We saw an eagle, plover, cormorants and herons, and one day, a seaplane flew by! We loved the deck overlooking the lake, the dining area inside the cabin with the same gorgeous views, and the close proximity to Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse. It was wonderful to watch the sun rise AND set! This was just the peaceful vacation we needed!”
