“Exceptional B&B in Beautiful English Countryside We were looking for a scenic place to rest up after our overnight flight to the UK from the USA and found this amazing place. Located in a beautiful, rural area with plenty to see and experience nearby. The property is stunning and very well-maintained. John and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. “This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund.……
