“I loved our one night here. It was a stop off on the way further south but I wish we could have stayed longer. So peaceful. “Devonshire House was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee and extra left in the communal lounge if required. Could have done with extra towels, only a bath sheet per person and one hand towel, could have done with one smaller towel per person for after washing your hair..minor criticism and we did manage by sharing the hand towel.. Chris was very friendly and helpful. We took his advice and went on the FREE walking tour around……
