“This property is located on the outskirts of Pitlochry, a very lovely town that has great walking trails, shopping, and restaurants. There is direct access from the property to walking trails and a convenient car park. Rooms vary in layout and amenities, so do your homework before booking. Our room was on a second floor without elevator and with a steep stair, which may not be suitable for elderly or folks with disabilities. The ceiling was sloped with a lot of headknockers for 6+ ft tall……

“The Braeriach is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the delightful town of Newtonmore. This hotel is updated with a really comfortable bed and shower and nice decor. They also have breakfast available and a lounge to hang out in. Nice all the way around. Thank you for having such a nice place to stay in an interesting area with lots to do.”

“jim and Lorraine were fabulous hosts breakfast was excellent !!! they even made us to go package when we left before breakfast the last day !! highly recommend !”

“The toilet sink was partially block. When I mentioned this to the lady of the of theB&B she merely said oh! I’ll get my plunger out later. She must have known this before as she cleans the property. The electric shower was ancient and I barely got a shower. Generally the property was less clean than I would’ve expected.”

“Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”
