The rooms were old and not in great shape. The bathtub was clogged my entire stay when trying to drain it. I asked for it to be fixed. It never was. I asked for housekeeping 2 times and it was not done. And there was no follow up re: this. How awful . The housekeepers that I encountered were terrible. The front desk was even worse. The lack of courteous and professionalism I just couldn’t tolerate or excuse. I complained directly to Marriott and called corporate Marriott while I was there. Never, never, never will I return to this hotel. I will make sure my friends and family know about my stay. Baltimore has declined tremendously. About 2 to 3 staff were courteous during our stay. The Bellhop yelled at me when I parked the car to check in. When I gave him the “excuse me” look, he tried to back peddle. The attitude of the staff was negative and “ I can’t stand waiting on customers”. The original Marriotts would roll over in their graves for these poor attitudes. I FOLLOWED THE GUIDELINES. What is wrong with my review? It is the truth and there is no profanity or personal information. Was this hotel as bad as I write? Yes… so please take the feedback to who it needs to go. I already contacted Marriott directly.

Extremely disappointed from check-in to check-out: - check-in: no information given about anything, very transactional. Even ignored to give us parking information - room service: hit or miss. Our room was cleaned 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed in. And no, we did not have a DND sign - management: very poor. There was a conference in town and they are definitely not equipped to be at capacity. This created shortages in everything, extremely long time at front desk, no room cleaning etc. - tech: we got locked out of our rooms with the keys not working twice. Each time had to wait 4( minutes to get the keys reactivated - staff: impersonable, no smile, clear toxic work environment - check-out: very impersonal. Not even “hope you had a good stay”. They probably know the answer wouldn’t be pleasing! Avoid this hotel at all cost!

I stayed 3 nights to attend a convention. My room did not get any cleaning service during my entire stay. Waste baskets in the room filled up and beds were not done, housekeeping was just poor. To add to that, I received a knock on my door from hotel security at 1 am in the morning asking me to leave the hotel without any cause. The front desk staff resolved the simple matter but security was just awful for no reason and didn’t require any drastic measure. I will not be staying at this hotel in the future if I come back to Baltimore.

Parking at this hotel is very confusing and parking attendant couldnt let us in before we checked in even with a reservation. so we had to back out of the garage back on to lombard st. not an easy task in a F-150. also the handle to our room only worked if you pulled up on the handle and not down like normal handles. other than that not too bad. for 300 $ a night i would expect better from Marriott
