“The host was exceedingly responsive, which left everything worry-free. I was there a bit earlier and my room had already been ready. The property is in a historic building in the centre of the old city centre, high ceiling and beautiful, and easy access to everything. The best thing is that comes with a lift, so heavy suitcases were not a problem at all. “We arrived around 8 pm. The downside is there's no one to talk to any time of day. We did not get the room we booked and it was a different address/building as well. We were never informed of any change. Needless to say it's difficult enough to get access to your room if you have been given the incorrect address and incorrect lodging. Eventually after about 30 minutes trying to locate it in the dark after more than 24 hours of traveling across the world we found it. It was less than enjoyable.”
“Owner was very gracious, welcoming and helpful. Property is old although well maintained, a little noisy as it is right off the freeway, and feels isolated at the end of a street with a fair amount of blight. Our stay was reasonably comfortable. Next time, I would opt for the hotel close to the airport rather than this particular property for greater convenience and comfort.”
