Fell slightly short…
Good points: Comfortable and warm rooms, pleasing decor, wonderful hosts and great breakfast - good quality sausages and bacon, with lovely presentation. Bedding lovely quality and super clean. Dyson hairdryer in the room, coffee maker (had to google instructions) and generally nice attention to detail. Owner (?!) made a lovely gesture of giving us bottled water and cookies for the trip home. Close to town centre. Not so good points: had a cosy King room which was situated in an extension in the garden. Had to keep curtains closed as people eating in pods outside. Extension didn’t really lend itself to the rest of the building and was just a weird set-up. Damp patch in the bathroom behind the door and the plaster had come away. Again, didn’t lend itself to the rest of the quality and attention to detail. Tried to order some fresh milk for our morning coffee, however couldn’t get the stylish in-room phone to work. Called through on mobile phone but couldn’t get an answer. Wardrobe in room looked more like a filing cabinet, again, not in keeping. £20 car park charge is insane, given the cost of the room. Was it worth it? Yes, we had a wonderful time but the location of the room spoilt it for us.

A lovely 3 night stay. Very welcoming, a clean, comfortable room overlooking Bath and the Abbey. 10 minute walk to the centre, Abbey and Roman Baths.

the room was tiny, ceiling light fixture in need of repair, several spiders were seen, tiny room overpriced, was charged for parking but had no vehicle, I would not stay there again

Bird bath?
A fun, individually sumptuous hotel, seemed only just past skin deep: parking was an extra £20 per day, some very dated décor disguised with large amounts of Christmas decorations. We only stayed a night - Friday night - and the bar was closed by 22:45. Breakfast was good quality but simple requests ignored / forgotten about. Overall a good hotel well located but paint by numbers management shows up threadbare deco & services.

The property was wonderful, couldn’t really fault it. My only gripe was £40 for 2 nights parking! Come on, do you really need to charge that much for parking?? Otherwise all good.

Good points, Hotel is lovely, staff are super friendly & helpful. Location is great. Bad points, it was an anniversary trip so we took our own champagne which was a gift & we were charged £40 corkage as it was not brought there. We also left it in there fridge for a few hours and it “evaporated” I will say I’m glad we decided not to have dinner there as the breakfast was terrible and very expensive. They also charge double for the parking @£20 per night if you don’t book direct with them. Overall it was ok but a our experience was dampened a bit
