very expensive stay due to local music festival which I appreciate is a case of supply and demand. Additionally charged £6.00 per day for parking (when some of our party were offer it for free) plus additional £10 to checkin at 1.00 rather than 2.00 pm (rooms were ready so no inconvenience for the hotel) was the icing on the cake. To be honest wouldnt consider Travelodge again. Hotel staff seemed in short supply/overworked although they were helpful and pleasaent wwere

4/5 Good

Nice Hotel handy to the airport

Very fast check in, welcoming décor and pleasant staff. Room big enough to put our three suitcases off the floor and still move around easily. Lovely bed & bedding, good lighting and free wi fi. Down to the bar to get our free drinks and ordered some chips for a nibble. Ordered had to be repeated and finally came about 40 mins later. Very nice dinner in the restaurant, with good service and food. Check out wasn't so quick as there was a mistake in the account, which was rectified. The taxi took twice as long to arrive as expected which isn't good when you are trying to get to the airport on time. Overall a good experience and would stay with this chain again.

Pros: Welcoming ambience and pleasant staff. Good sized bedroom and very nice bedding.

Cons: A more generous supply of tea/coffee and milk, a face flannel in the bathroom and faster wifi and a nicer view from the bedroom window than a roof.

Location: Only there overnight for the airport so didn't explore locally.

5/5 Excellent

very convenient to very conveneint

Hotel was well situated for transport and city attractions. Staff were excellent and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. Best lighting system and extremely comfortable beds. I just wish they would provide some shelves and luggage racks. At 70 yrs of age it is a bit much to be kneeling on the floor to find things in the suitcase. Would definately recommend and if ever back in Bath will stay there again.

Pros: Staff, breakfast, cleanliness, and location.

Cons: Shelves in the bedroom

Location: Historic Bath has heaps of sightseeing but a must is the Roman Baths. City view sky walk wasn't really worth the effort. Heaps of restaurants nearby.

The rooms are bare bones. When we first arrived they put us in a room very very far from the main lobby. I asked to change rooms to be closer which they did however the rooms are very small. I asked for a bigger one they said they did not have one. I found out later to ask for a family room that they were the same price. Nothing but a small bar of soap was in the bathroom. No wash cloths. Nothing. The beds were very tiny. I had an adapter for my dryer but it blew it out within two seconds. My friend's computer blew its battery also with the adapter. The breakfast room was nice overlooking the canal. If you are going to the theater as we were it was a very inconveniently long walk thru a tunnel to get from the main part of the city to the hotel. In the dark you had to be with someone you could not walk by yourself back to the hotel.
