“I booked Kathy’s Cottage based on its high rating, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Check-in was extremely difficult, which was already stressful—especially since I booked this for my dad. Once inside, the heater and fireplace were not working. I contacted the provided number, and instead of sending help, they instructed my dad to light the pilot himself. He was not comfortable doing that, and I made that clear. They said they would contact maintenance, but no one ever……

“The breakfast was excellent, and plenty of it! My husband and I enjoyed the fireplace at night and loved listening to all the birds and wildlife. This was our second time staying at the lodge. The Romance room views on the 3rd floor are the best! Staff could not be more welcoming or friendly! 2 thumbs up!”
