“I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs with my family for vacation and my experience was quite disappointing. “Staff were very friendly and helpful at the registration desk. The room was clean and comfortable but did have some wear and tear in some places like the wall paper in the bathroom. The staff at the main dining area took long to approach and take our order and some were not very friendly, but it was still convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. “The property is older and some parts of it are run down (like the pillows of the pool cabanas), but our family of 4 had a relaxing time spending 3 nights here. The price was inflated because of Cochella, so it was probably not worth $399 per night for 2 queen beds. There wasn't much ventilation in the bathroom, so it got kind of musty in there and the property is so massive it was a long walk to the lobby. I would recommend if you can get the regular rate ($135/night) and not have to pay up……
