“History buffs will be in heaven! Hard to find such a well preserved 280 year-old property. The floors throughout are something you cannot copy today. Amazing. The creature comforts are all there and our 4 adult group were very comfortable. We used the 2 queen rooms (one up a narrow/steep stairway over the kitchen but worth it when you get up). *There are another 2 upstairs bedrooms accessed through a second living room. “Big house plenty of room to entertain ”

“This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you for sharing your home.”

“We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at Springfield College. 'We' were 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. While it is pet friendly there were no remnants of any pets from previous renters. It is an OLD farmhouse that was immaculate and comfortably furnished. It is stocked with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a nice backyard for active kids.”

“We loved this charming house on the river! We attended a family reunion in the area and it was a wonderful location and so lovely to be near the running river and take a dip in the refreshing water. My only recommendation would be to add in the initial listing that there is a caretaker on property. That isn't listed on the listing and I didn't know about it until the check in instructions came. While not a bother at all during our stay, it isn't something I would usually care for to have a……
