"The view of the lake was great. Relaxing, laid -back setting. They have a nice blacktop trail around the lake, bring your fishing pole and artificial bait no live bait. I was told sometimes the park rangers come down and fish with the kids.The rooms are dated but nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was a microwave and a mini fridge. They offered s'mores by the campfire which was a big hit with the kids. The Restaurant had good service and food. We spent 2 days there on our way to the beach and visited The Natural Bridge area. There was a lot more to explore so we'll be back."

"The property was well maintained and the room was clean and spacious. Given that the hotel is new there are a few enhancements that would improve the overall experience. Each room should be equipped with a safe and a coffee maker as opposed to a tea pot with pouch coffee would be an improvement. A second luggage stand along with a small microwave in the suite kitchenette would also be useful."

"Great property. Lots of fun. Amenities were great. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Not too toddler friendly so be prepared if you take small children. Only negative was the offside trash dump that was 10 to 15 min away. We made 3 trips. All in all a perfect week."
