"I intentionally stop in Effingham just to go to Firefly Grill! But when it comes to places to stay, this La Quinta is a great value - attractive, well maintained, and has quiet rooms. My only critique is that you'd expect breakfast to be a little nicer commensurate with the quality vibe you get here."

Cheaper stay for the same quality as expensive properties in the area definitely helped me and my son for the night while my town was out of power. Only negative was i called ahead for a crib and didnt get one but i also didnt say anything when i got there. "
