"Quaint. Feels like you are staying in the real Florence. Desk manned for only a portion of the day. If you are arriving late, ensure you contact hotel for entry codes and room key. There is a code to building, code to floor of hotel and then key to room. Walkable from train station and walkable to attractions."

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and gorgeous, and the location is incredibly convenient to everything (and literally around the corner from stunning Santa Croce). The hotel itself is so beautiful and peaceful, and again, the very kind staff work so hard to prioritize guests’ comfort. Would absolutely stay here again and again "

"The location was excellent . Nic was very helpful and he recommended great places for meals. He also went the extra mile to call and make dining reservations for us and got a taxi for us when we left on the last day. The room looks new and really clean. We are not too big so the bathroom size is still alright. The rooms are not sound proofed, we are not light sleepers so noise did not affect us much. Overall, it was an excellent accommodation for us. "

"Great location to the centre and short walk to the Duomo. Beautiful building and room with plenty of space. Bed was too firm for my liking and pillows were old and well used. 30min walk from the train station."

"When first arriving though the place was rundown! But when we saw the room. It was ok! The place is on a top floor building! A bit of a maze! But once you start getting used to it then it’s not a problem. Staff very helpful, breakfast was in the restaurant next door very basic but very good. Staff very friendly too. Would stay again! "
