“This house was perfect for our family vacation. The host was very prompt with answering any questions or requests that we had-5 stars! The house had some basic amenities, beach towels, soap, detergent and things like that. The location was great and Larsen Lake was perfect for our littles. ”

“This is an absolutely lovely cabin nestled in a wonderful lakeside gem of a community. Our family had a truly excellent stay at the end of our long summer - just in time for our little guy to start kindergarten. The house is super charming, roomy, well furnished, and has everything you might want! There are plenty of family fun activities in the area, the beach on the lake is close and very well kept, and there's even a community pool with great snacks and even more fun. We made so many memories……

“Not what We expected!? We actually had to leave, right-then-and-there (after talking to Jean) b/c we just couldn't stay there, "at all", under those conditions! The initial overview (in website @ booking) of the property details are vague, the website never says, a "detached bathroom", (we couldn't find that detail in the "details" of property. “The property was great! In secluded neighborhood nice and quiet! Service didn’t work on phone well but connecting to WiFi had you able to use any devices you had! The property was well cared for. Hot tub was nice to enjoy after day on lake as well as fire place. We made fire every night. The air conditioner worked super well and was close enough for restaurants and grocery stores. We loved this and the family loved our vacation! Would go here again and recommend to all - added bonuses included……

“This listing is a scam. They list WIFI (there was none), heating, and a kitchen with an oven and stove. Well were we surprised to find: 1) AC worked but heating was broken. My family near froze to death. The property owner was obviously aware of the problem because when we arrived they had set out a few space heaters. Well, when we tried to use more than one at a time the power went out. To make matters worse, the fuse box for the property is attached to another property. As you can image it……

“We had a relaxing stay at this VRBO. Big Bass Lake had terrific amenities and the setting was perfect for a getaway. The house was clean and it was so convenient to have a bathroom next to each bedroom, each with a shower! The kids enjoyed the books and toys. Kitchen was good for cooking a few small meals, and we also enjoyed eating from Passing the Thyme and Lombardi’s.”

“My family of 5 and our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Shiff Shack over Easter break. The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. “I need to be as comprehensive as possible as the host deserves the kudos. What a great experience. Upon our arrival (about 3pm), and we entered a sparkling clean home. Everything was new and we quickly settled in for 2 great nights. The matresses were all spectacular. One important thing is to read Stephanie's webpage and be sure to make advanced dinner reservations at the larger restaurants - perhaps the weekend before your actual arrival. I highly recommend Greshams. Great restaurant but……

“Great space, beautiful rustic but modern design. Complete kitchen including spices. The house did not have a TV in every room but that was fine since we played games every night until late. The outdoor of the property was the best part. Forest behind the house w a creek where we were able to enjoy watching deers wild birds and chipmunks. Definitely want to stay here again. ”
