The Cedars Country Cottage, located 3 miles north-west of Blanding on the reservoir road, is the perfect blend of convenience and solitude! Featuring covered porch, 2 Full Baths, Bathtub, TV, DVD, WIFI, Fully Furnished Kitchen, Dining Room Table, all Linens, Washer & Dryer! Sleeps 7+ people including the Sofa in Living Room.
A one-of-a-kind vacation home, set alone in a cedar grove with a 360-degree view in all directions. Relax on the porch in the sun or the shade. The Cedars Cottage has a way of making you feel extremely secluded, while nearby lies the most popular lake in San Juan County - great for swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports! Also nearby are 2 reservoirs stocked with fish for fishing. Lake Powell - Halls Crossing Marina is only 80 minutes of travel time.
Inside, you'll find much more space than you anticipated - with vaulted ceilings, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, a very spacious living room with surround sound TV enjoy your favorite shows with two Roku devices, and cozy sofas!
Master Bedroom has a King Bed.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.
The Living room also has a full sofa and a love seat.
All linens (towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.) are provided for you. The kitchen is also stocked with cooking and serving utensils - all you bring is the food and condiments!
WIFI and Digital TV and DVD are provided at no additional cost - that is of course if you ever get bored enough to use them. You'll be far too busy exploring the popular national and state parks and monuments in southeast Utah - that's right, the Cedars Cottage is located centrally among more than a dozen of them!

Stay in Blanding

This was a perfect spot to launch our Southeast Utah adventure. I was a little nervous about cooking with the swamp cooler, but it worked out just fine. Home had everything we needed to have a great time with our three children. Master shower was fantastic with duel shower heads and was perfect after a long day of dusty hiking and being outside. Nice Getaway from the Heat

Great secluded cabin with beautiful views!

We loved our stay at this sweet cabin tucked in the cedars! Even though it is quite close to town, we felt like the location was very private. The star gazing was incredible! The beds were comfy! The heated tile floors and shower in the master bath were a special treat! Communication with our hosts was great!

Great out of town property

This was just outside of town, which gave it a nice country feel, but yet was very convenient to the area attractions. I loved the binder with suggested destinations, and we actually changed out itenerary based on our find there. House was huge, well equipped, and comfortable.

Feels Secluded

The cottage is near downtown Blanding, but it feels secluded, set on a slope and surrounded by pinion and juniper. Nice, compact place with everything we needed.

This place has it all

Nice, clean, well-stocked, cottage. Great location for exploring Bears Ears Monument, Natural Bridges, etc. Wonderful host. Even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! We loved it!

Perfect location for visiting Bears Ears

Spent a week hiking in Bears Ears and Canyonlands Needles. This rental was in the perfect location for both. After a long day of hiking and exploring it felt like home walking through the front door. Clean, comfy and cozy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling for work. Did not get to enjoy any local amenities. Heated floors were nice. Kitchen functions as intended. Just 8-10 min outside of town.

Great peaceful location, excellent mountain views

The house is well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It sits on a large piece of land and it’s quiet and private. My wife and I took an evening walk from the house to nearby lakes and biked from the house to see Five Kiva Pueblo in a canyon south of Blanding. I’m sure we’ll be coming back to explore more of this amazing part of Utah. Martin & Ruth Montrose/Colorado

Spacious, Affordable, Nice Location

As a family of four, we had lots of room to spread out in the house. Kids loved it too. It was centrally located for what we wanted to do in the area. Owners/management were quick with answers and responses and willing to check on things. Beds were comfortable and shower was amazing. Our 12 year old was ready to move in permanently.

Quiet and comfortable

We spent six nights in this marvelous cottage as our base during a recent visit to Utah. The bed we slept on after a long day of hiking was super comfortable and the heated tile floors after a morning shower were wonderful. The beautiful quilt on the bed was much admired and appreciated! We mostly did our own cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed including a cupboard of spices. The cottage is close to Mule Canyon, Bears Ears and National Bridges Monument, communication with our host Preston was very good, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Third Wonderful Visit

Our third stay at the Cedars Cottage was as comfortable, quiet, and convenient as the previous two visits (see my earlier reviews). This lodging has everything needed for a couple or a family. And the location is perfect for exploring Cedar Mesa--be sure to visit the Tourist Info Center for great suggestions about where to go and don't miss the Edge of the Cedars Museum, well curated and filled with a variety of interesting and relevant exhibits. Restaurants in Blanding were underwhelming, but the Cedar Shack in Bluff had excellent pizza. Thanks for making your beautiful, comfortable home available for others to enjoy. We hope to return!

Great Place to Stay for a Southeast Utah Getaway

Nice house. Very clean. Liked the large upstairs TV/family room and large master bedroom suite with huge shower. The powerful AC kept the house cool (cold in fact) during a heat wave. The house was well stocked with supplies. Enjoyed the privacy due to the large size of the property and amount of trees surrounding the house. It felt secluded. Good location for several day trips in this part of the state. The romping bunnies were a plus.
