“We absolutely loved our stay at Banner Elk! This home was perfect for our family vacation. It was conviently close to the ski slopes. The home was well kept and decorated. The basement was a little cold but the owners had space heaters in place. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back! ”

“The cottage was very nice and the view is amazing! The driveway could be better marked, as it is quite steep and hard to see - especially at night. Zero cell service, which is understandable, but there is no wifi. The lack of wifi should be clearly stated on the listing. We had to leave early because we had no communication with family/work. Bring toilet paper and paper towels if you’re staying longer than a couple days. ”

“everything was good. Hot tubs are always questionable depending on the previous clientele. And cleaning usually requires chemicals and time...not a luxury one has on a one-day rental. Overall, it was very accommodating. ”
