“No words to describe this place and the people that runs it. Everything was perfect, the scenery, the food, the atmosphere...but most of all the feeling that you've been treated like family. Marco and Eleonora are simply the best one could ask: attentive, professional , caring. Me and my daughter were treated like one of their own and that feeling says more than a million words. We will be back for sure and thanks again Marco and Eleonora for everything .”

“The room was clean and the hotel staff was incredibly gracious. Every staff member we encountered was able to communicate in Italian and English. The food in the restaurant was amazingly good. We had aperitifs at the bar and dined in the restaurant several nights during our stay. The staff was very hospitable and the drinks and food were always great. ”

![To avoid the risks of Trebbia’s unpredictable floods, legend has it that St. Columban made a pact with the Devil: in exchange for the construction of the bridge in one night only, Devil’s reward would be the soul of the first person who would cross it. The Devil respected the agreement and in one night he built the Old Bridge with the help of a group of demons of different height and build, cause however of the structure’s irregularity. When St. Columbanus, the next morning, saw the Hunchbacked Bridge, mocked the Devil by letting a dog be the first to cross it.
