“This was my second stay here in a month while passing through. Clean and comfortable!!”

“The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!”

“The room was spacious & served its purpose. Grounds were a little dirty. Wanted to do swimming in the pool but a bunch of sweaty workers consumed it with loud music (which is fine) just didn’t feel comfortable. Breakfast was good except the sausage did NOT taste like sausage.ewww! Stick to waffles & eggs. “The rooms are not what shown on pictures. The properly is poorly maintained. The bathtub drain didn't properly drain, the ice bucket inside the room was filthy, the bed spread had stains on them, the ice machine did not work. The humidity smell was all over the hotel. Apparently there was housekeeping service daily, but out sheets were never changed (we were there for 4 days). Overall, an ok place to stay in a very ok town, but definitely not coming back.”

“Pros: room was clean, had a working A/C and refrigerator. Cons: The curtains were tattered and too short for the window and barely covered the width of the window. Beds were hard. Pillows were like a rock. Only offered one wash cloth and two bath towels for 3 people. Did not offer amenities at all. There was a small coffee maker but no grounds offered and missing the glass coffee carafe. Tv remote didn’t work, microwave had a broken dent in the door and was unplugged (we were afraid to……

“The building itself is a bit dated one of the elevator is broken, and seems to be broken for a while The running water fall between the two elevators give the hotel a smell of chloride The room is clean, no fridge in the room Shower head is slightly moldy Room decor seems ‘70ish ”

“Don't believe the ratings for this motel. Very dirty, smelly, not well maintained. No ice machine even though there is a sign for an ice machine. Very difficult to get access to wifi. It really seemed like a low income place for people to live and that is how the people there acted.”

“I had to sweep the floor before I'd even bring in my.luggage. there were dead flues and Rolly Pollies everywhere. It smelled so weird and musty. The ceiling fan was not usable because it was so dirty. The sink leaked and water would run out of the cabinet beneath it. The fridge barely worked. All of this was in an upgraded suite. So I hate to think of the rooms that aren't upgraded. The owner or manager was so rude and in order to get a second key for the other guest, I had to pay $2!!!!! The……

“To start when I booked the hotel they said there was breakfast and when I arrived they said they were building a restaurant, and that there was no breakfast being served, then on website it says they are pet friendly and when I arrived there was no pets allowed signs everywhere and nowhere in the description did it say I have to bring shot papers or have the tags on me and they gave me problems with that, then there deposit was overly priced for what that hotel was, then when I got to the room……
