A very beautiful, quaint property. The building is quite old, as are some of it's systems. We stayed for two nights in November and the heat was on somewhat inconsistently, but never to a degree that caused my girlfriend or I discomfort. The wifi was also slow. Those are my only complaints. Staff was very responsive and helpful with any issue we had. The area is very lovely - you are within walking distance of Cleveland Circle and Washington Square, two of the best areas for dining. The building is also close to the C line, a straight shot to downtown Boston. The antique aesthetic of the inn shines through: I was a big fan of the look and feel of the place. Overall, I recommend.

The Inn sits on a quiet part of Beacon Street that is very close to the T and within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. The rooms were comfortable and clean and had old-world charm. Fenway Park is a short 2.3 mi away. The only downside to our stay was the check-in process, where there was no dedicated person on duty at check-in time. The front door was locked and we had to call a number to say we were here but got an answering machine. Thankfully we met a handyman coming out who made a call for us and the housekeeper checked us in. They were both extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us. (Full disclosure we were there a few hours earlier to see if we could leave our bags and no one was there either, but we called the number and actually spoke to a person, but decided not to leave the bags since there was no one stationed at the front desk.) Would I stay there again? I'd say yes because of the nice location, a comfortable stay and I know what to expect at check-in. It's just a weird way to run a hospitality business.
