“We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”

“Very good, nice quiet location, clean and tidy, comfortable. Nice buffet and evening meals were good quality. Staff a bit rushed but very helpful and friendly. Pub is very smart with a nice touch being fresh dalias on the tables. Only negative is that parking could be a problem as it is on street and quite busy. Would definitely stay again as I like real ale and the beer festival was only a short walk away.”

“Forget a bicycle made for two, Munnings is an Air b and B made for you. Situated in the historic village of Mendham with plenty of off road parking, the Lodge is a gem. Tracey and Paul were warm, welcoming and helpful hosts ( in spite of the fact they had not received my booking from VRBO!!) The area has plenty of historic towns and villages, ideal for sightseeing and walking. And by the way, the Lodge and is two minutes walk from a pub serving excellent food.”
