Miramare Hotel has a unique style which is quirky, and excellent staff who were always helpful. It is on the 3rd floor accessible by lift or stairs, and perfectly positioned to walk into Cagliari city, or along the harbour. Also within easy walking distance of the station, as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Our room had a harbour view so was perfect to sit at the juliette balcony to people watch and enjoy the comings and goings of the boats. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It is hotel for the kids due to the sports and all activities. Don’t expect great service and luxury. The included food is average and only the good food could be found at the restaurants you pay. The staff is not completely fluent in English so if you order something expect receiving the incorrect order for example ordering a drink could be challenging unless is something straight forward like a Beer. The fact that the kids enjoy it balances out a bit. In our opinion given the price it is not worth it. If you are going to give it a try we suggest no more than a week or 5 days.

The employees in the resort go above and beyond -not necessarily the front desk- but everyone else is wonderful. I had an issue, but was able to resolve it. I strongly recommend keeping all receipts. Overall, it's a very nice property, and the manager is quite professional, offering excellent service.
