“Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi. Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.”

“We had a lovely stay, easy to find with nice touches of bread jam cereal and eggs. Would like a bedside lamp to be able to read and a small hoover or broom as we were staying a week .but apart from that couldn’t fault it at all, lovely to meet the owners who were helpful and friendly . Huge comfy bed and nice to be able to do the washing as the weather wasn’t good ”

“A lovely cottage for a couple or small family. Everything you need to look after yourself for your time away. A great base to either sample the delightful area for hiking or more gentle pass times. If eating out is your happy place Buxton comes up trumps. Very enjoyable time we had. Thank you.”
