We celebrated my daughter's upcoming wedding with a shower at the Meritage for a girls weekend stay. We had stayed here three other times but didn't have any issues when reserving directly with the property. This time, we reserved through Expedia and was satisfied with the price of the room through this platform; however, was misled on price expectation. According to Expedia's website, it stated total price I'd be paying, but when I checked in, the front desk charged me over almost $200 more for one night because there were other fees including parking (which we never had to pay for in the past), resort fees, and other taxes. This was not a positive experience and started our vacation with a negative feeling. Wish this was disclosed on Expedia's website. Travelers beware. We did enjoy our room and the property itself.
