Camarillo Springs Golf Course Tours

This is a beautiful hotel, nice central location and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Our room was large, bright and well appointed (room 204). I would say there are a few things that should be considered. 1. Although the coffee and tea service in the morning was a nice touch, I am surprised that there weren't any pastries from a local bakery, or fruit or something else to snack. Breakfast isn't immediately nearby so having something with coffee/tea would be lovely. 2. Because this is an old Elks lodge (which has been beautifully restored), there aren't closets per se', The provided clothes rack is quite small and it would be helpful to have something more substantial to hang your clothes (there is even a nice I would use to construct a larger clothes rack). We were in town for a wedding and wanted more to hang our clothes on. 3. The shower is glorious and the sink area is beautifully done - but isn't very practical. Very little counter space and we had to take turns getting ready. A small vanity/desk area (with a lit mirror) next to the console below the TV would have solved the issue. Oh, and the toilet paper should be of better quality. :) Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would absolutely stay here again. There are some quirks to consider that we will remember going forward. Definitely worth consideration for your next stay in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area!!

It was nice, quiet street, and great location.

The size of the room is small. The space between the beds and walls is very narrow making you feel a bit crammed. Each room has a vent where outside air is pumped into each room making it extremely uncomfortable especially when the outside temperature is cold. One has to turn on the heater in the room to keep a comfortable temperature inside the room. The outdoor restaurant on the 5th floor is always busy and it could use an area with ceiling as it gets extremely cold at sunset time. The variety of the food menu is small. Parking for the hotel is not free. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help out.
