Dining out tips: I highly recommend Mel's Old Time Cafe for breakfast & Ugly Mug for dinner. Both were very close & fantastic!”

“We stayed for two nights. The cabin was clean and a good home base for adventures at nearby Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island.The kitchen had enough cookware to prepare dinner one night, and the grill had propane. The gas fireplace worked off and on, seemed a bit temperamental.The location was great. Very quiet and private among the trees. Firepit in the back yard was a plus, we used it the first night.”

It felt like we were his only client with how responsive he was. It made planning our trip so much easier. The little lake house was very clean and we felt right at home once we walked in.
