"Comfortable and clean, Breakfast could have had more variety, butt was good. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff."

"Room was very nice but the shower dripped loudly. We reported it immediately but was not fixed within the 2 days we were there. Second floor rooms are directly above the saloon causing us to endure loud music until nearly 11pm both nights. There was no ice in the large ice container on 2nd floor causing us to go to the bakery downstairs to get some. "

"This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If you forgot something, don’t worry, it’s probably available in the house. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and the sparkling bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfortable beds! The host is very nice and responds quickly to your messages. We really enjoyed everything at Gooseloop Getaway and would definitely stay here again. "
