"We were so impressed by this beautiful cottage! It’s exactly what we needed for a private, romantic getaway (but would’ve also been perfect if we brought the kids). The location is perfect if you’re looking for something rural - it’s a 20 minute drive from Summerside. It’s perfectly spaced out from the few other cottages nearby, and a few minute walk to the beach at the end of the road. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and the screened in deck. "Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "

"I stayed with my parents and sister in late August. The property had the perfect location for us, who wanted to spend time at the beach. The cottage was a great size and was quiet. The neighbors are close but you do have your own space and yard to use. We especially enjoyed the fire table. "

"We enjoyed the peace and quiet after a busy day touring the Island. The Big Cottage is an older building with a cozy, rustic feel. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. Just bring food and your personal belongings and you are set! The property is large, a long way from the road and very well maintained. Kids and dogs will love it!"

"We loved this cottage. It had a great layout, plenty of space for 7 of us - including the huge dining table with the long benches. Comfy beds too! When I asked Ken about a blender he was over promptly with a brand new one - totally unexpected but we were so grateful. We would love to come back next summer!"

"First and foremost I wanted to say that this is a gem of a house. With beautiful views of the water. However our stay was not what you would consider a perfect getaway (not the host fault). We arrived with my dad and my elderly uncle who’s 85. He was coming down the stairs when he misjudged a steep and fell and hit his head against the wood fireplace.
